Who We Are

We’re an after-school club in Honor Oak/Forest Hill, created with love by two local mums who understand the challenge of finding great childcare. When we couldn’t find the right fit for our own children, we decided to create a safe, fun, and nurturing space for local families just like ours.

At Twinkle Stars, there’s something for every child to enjoy! From sports and arts & crafts to slime making, baking, gardening, and so much more, our activities are designed to keep kids engaged, happy, and learning through play. Our spacious, grassy garden is a favourite spot, and we take every opportunity to enjoy it!

We’re passionate about making our club feel like a home away from home. Healthy, delicious snacks are always on the menu - updated weekly and crafted to keep your little ones fueled for fun. Check out our sample menus in the gallery.

As an Ofsted-registered club, we make it easier for families to access financial support. You can use Tax-Free Childcare, and parents on Universal Credit can claim back up to 85% of childcare costs.

Our mission is simple: to give parents peace of mind by providing the best possible after-school care, in a safe and stimulating environment where children can thrive.

Our Team

Tamara & Shannon

We are Shannon and Tamara, the proud owners of Twinkle Stars ASC. As local mums, we struggled to find suitable wrap-around care for our children. When we couldn’t find the right option, we decided to take matters into our own hands and create our own after school club. With extensive experience in the childcare sector, we’re passionate about nurturing and supporting children in a way that truly meets their needs.

Our mission is to create the most exciting, safe and engaging environment for the children who attend. We want Twinkle Stars to feel like a home away from home, where every child feels valued, comfortable and part of a family. We constantly strive to bring fresh ideas, creative activities and fun-filled programmes to the club, giving children the space to learn, grow and make lasting memories.

We care deeply about building a strong sense of community, not just for the children but for parents too. Our goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your child is in a warm, welcoming and inspiring space.

Twinkle Stars is more than just an after school club to us – it’s a place where children and families can thrive together.

Teyannah

Teyannah is our creative playworker, brimming with energy and enthusiasm. The children adore her vibrant sense of humour, her warm and approachable nature, and her boundless willingness to join in and have fun.

Her creativity and passion for play make her an invaluable part of our team, always bringing smiles and laughter to every activity.

Lisa

Lisa is our amazing Arts & Crafts Coordinator. The children absolutely love visiting her to discover the exciting and creative activities she has planned for them each session. Lisa is brilliant at designing imaginative weekly themes and always comes up with new, fun and engaging projects for the children to enjoy.

Her enthusiasm and artistic flair inspires everyone, making arts and crafts a highlight of the week.

  • Since Twinkle Stars opened its doors, I've heard so many glowing reports from local school families. My daughters have joined in at Twinkle Stars for a few odd days during the holidays and they absolutely love it! So much creativity, attention and planning goes into the activities and there is a really fun feel to the whole environment. Plus they offer a really convenient school pick-up service.
